Tapered Drill Rods

Tapered drill rods made of hexagonal hollow steels have two sizes of H22 and H25, applicable to small pneumatic or hydraulic drill to shallow hole drilling. The combination of tapered drill rods and tapered button bits has different lengths for various applications. It is widely used in rock drilling, hole enlargement in the fields of quarrying, mining, road excavation and building construction.

Tapered drill rods catalogue

Maxdrill’s tapered drill rods have different series of the standard taper degree, 7°, and the internationally common degree, 12°. 7° tapered drill rods are usually used in small rock drills while 11° and 12° rods used in large rock drills. We produce tapered drill rods that are Ф25 in the standard diameter, Ф22 and other diameters based on customers’ needs. Contact us for more information.
